Steve and Jessica and Jeff,

I wanted you to know how much we enjoyed our stay at your ranch. The house, the cabin,the ranch, and the location were really great. What really made our stay special though were you guys. From showing Barrett the “how to” of fly fishing and helping him make his first catch on a fly, to hanging out at the campfire with us, all of you made us feel like welcome friends. That kind of connection doesn’t happen everywhere you go and it made our stay at your ranch something special. When people ask about our vacation I tell them we stayed at a beautiful ranch and had the best of times “We hiked, we strolled town, went to the hot springs,tubed the Yampa, Barrett caught a sweet trout on a fly, and we shared a campfire with the owners, a horse, a goat and, a dog. What more could you ask for?”

Thanks again for all your hospitality, showing Barrett the ropes (and not just about fly fishing) and making our vacation something special. Hopefully some of us will be back this fall.

Dear Jessica and Steve,

I just want to thank you for EVERYTHING.  Thank you for letting Shannon and Matt have their wedding at the ranch since they can not imagine having been married anywhere else.  It suited them perfectly, and it was more beautiful and fun than I could have imagined. Everything went more smoothly than I ever expected, thanks to you. You took care of details that I didn’t even know about until after the wedding was over. We would have WALLOWED without your expert guidance! Thank you for ALL your help, your great attitudes, and your encouragement over the weekend.  You made us feel so comfortable there, and we all felt like we had known you and been friends for a long time.  You opened your beautiful ranch and your hearts to us, and it meant a lot to us all. We loved getting to know the two of you better.

We had the very best of time in your beautiful ranch. The kindness and generosity extended by all of you is greatly appreciated and will be instilled in our memories forever. Noah and Madeline most especially loved it. It was their first time in Colorado & their first time on a ranch. Your hospitality provided an opportunity to expand their minds and to see that there is more to life than what they know. For that I am very grateful. If you are ever up for a warm visit to Atlanta I would love to follow through on or conversation about swaping homes. We will be back…

Thank you for the wonderful nights and days here on your beautiful ranch. Our family loved the lovely home complete with all the essentials. The children loved the sledding hill, and Cynda adored the friendly goats. The ice fishing with Tom was a highlight for the guys (even if we decided that they were too pretty to eat). We loved the three baths for each bedroom and the fully stocked kitchen as well. Your ranch is absolutely beautiful and was a perfect private haven for our family.

Aidan & Dylan had the tome of their lives running around, playing fetch with Mojo and feeding the goats (especially Sprinkles I wish we could afford a summer home up here, then we could come up every summer and bother you guys! Spent a sun-filled, glorious early spring (officially!) weekend at the ranch complete with bonfire, ice fishing - caught a trout!, many a stick tossed for Mojo and a couple of great chicory coffee mornings in the dining nook. Snow on Steamboat mountain was lacking, but the afternoon at Strawberry Park Hot Springs drying our hot-spring pruned bodies on the rocks like lizards was not! We begrudgingly leave to return to Denver.
